About the Good Design Awards
Founded in Chicago, US, in 1950 by the architects and pioneers of modern design Charles and Ray Eames, Edgar Kaufmann, Jr., and Eero Saarinen, the Good Design awards honor the best new industrial and graphic designs. Organized by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design, and the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies, the Awards aim to highlight innovations that have chartered new directions for commercial products worldwide.
